What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? ny

i have a question pertaining to corporations and i know very little.
currently i run an internet radioshow with few listeners and a friend told me i can incorporate to a llc which will give me a business standing and make me more credible to sponsors but i run a 1-2 person show, pay no money except what i pay out of pocket money to run the show, have no employees and receive no money, but might do fundraisers at some point. i was also told if i take out a business loan for a few thousand dollars and i cant pay it back as a llc i cant personally be held liable or something im new and confused.

BozWalker, you have been asking essentially the same question since 2011 (6/3/2011; 10/26/2011; 1/19/2012; 8/22/2012; 2/24/2013) although, admittedly, you received no answer to one thread and limited answers to two.

Here are links to two of the more recent threads:

https://forum.freeadvice.com/sports-arts-entertainment-law-86/internet-radio-minors-592102.html

Here are links that were provided to you in the 2012 thread:

The US Small Business Administration (check out the NY-specific page): http://www.sba.gov

http://www.nysegov.com/citGuide.cfm?superCat=28

You were advised early on to seek out a mentor who could help walk you through the steps of setting up and operating your internet radio show. You were also advised to see an attorney to assist you in navigating the legal waters. You should not consider taking out a loan if you do not believe you can pay it back.

Good luck to you.
