What is the name of your state? California

I am an accountant in California helping a client form a single member LLC for the purposes of placing a rental property in the LLC. I have done alot of research and come up with the following questions:
1. Will the single member of the LLC will file a federal form 1040 with a Schedule E?
2. Will the single member of the LLC will file a state form 540 and pages 1 and 3 of form 568.
3. Does the FTb minimum franchise fee apply only after the LLC has been formed?
4. Are there any special tax forms that need to be filed other than the above?
Thank you so much in advance.
