I have a business partnership with a friend and I would like to take myself out of the partnership. Someone told me that all I needed to do was post an AD stating that I was no longer a partner in said business. Is this true? And if so, since it is already March can it be retroactive for the entire 2005 year for tax purposes next year? :confused:
