What is the name of your state?

I have just moved from NY to Florida. I have a small graphic design firm, set up in NY in 2000 as an S-corp. What would be the easiest and least expensive way to transfer this business to Florida?

I have a EIN. Would I be able to keep this same number? If not, would this mean going through all the incorporation in Florida as if it was a new business? And, would that mean I'd have to "dissolve" the NY corporation?

I know I have to apply for a professional licence in Palm Beach County, and register my business.

I am on a very limited budget, and just want to continue as a freelance graphic designer. What would you suggest I do?

Thank you for any help and advice.
