What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California

If you are DBA Lilac Flowers (not real name) and followed the proper procedures with the county by publishing the info in the newspaper and later decide to incorporate, would you need to do another DBA if you change the name to Lilac Flowers Inc?

One more question:

If after you incorporate and decide to open a website called lilacflowersinc.net, would you have to file an additional DBA as lilacflowersinc.net?

If you incorporate as "Lilac Flowers, Inc." then that name is no longer a fictitious name, it's the name of a real entity and you don't need a DBA.
If you incorporate as "Orange County Florist" and wish to operate the corporation as Lilac Flowers, then yes you need a fictitious name registration.
