I own a small business in upstate NY transporting passengers to and from NYC airports and local casinos. Right now I'm operating under a DBA. I'm interested and currently looking into buying an existing Tanning Salon business and/or Laundromat. However, before I purchase anything I want to change my legal structure to a either a C or S-corporation to limit my personal liability. But I'll need to specify my business description when I file and these 3 businesses are so different that I'm not sure how to describe my new corporation. Am I able to run these businesses under one corporation or would I have to set up a corporation for each one? Thanks

You can operate under one corporate 'umbrella'.... HOWEVER, I STRONGLY suggest you contact a local attorney and build a relationship. EVERY commercial enterprise should at least KNOW an attorney to turn to when they need help.
