My partner and I want to start a business that will directly compete with our current employer, what legal pitfalls should concern us? I tried a search as to avoid this thread with some decent general information but nothing Indiana specific. We have signed nothing but paperwork for taxes and I was wondering if a covenant to compete would hinder our plans of starting this venture. Any help or links to Indiana’s legal position on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
