What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? SC

Hello,

I'm the administrator to a new biofuels/import startup in SC. Our small firm has some investors wanting to begin a biofuels feedstock (import) business, along with branching into developing new biofuels/green energy products. This is an entirely new business for the owners, and some of the investors, but they do have some exp'd consultants in the agricultural/biofuels industry to consult with.

Importing biofuel feedstocks, such as palm oil and other seed oils, from intern'l markets will be the main revenue source to start (several buyers already lined up). They will also be developing other bio/green energy products for addit'l revenue sources (in very profitable areas, confidential).

Can anyone recommend a firm/attorney very familiar with int'l trade law, especially exp'd with int'l contracts for shipping commodities into US? Being a startup, we only need part time consult, likely virtual work (not onsite), more hrs in the first quarter of this year (2009). Our corp office will likely be in Coastal, SC with an office in Wilmington, NC - next to the intern'l shipping port there.

Thanks, Roz
