What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? colorado. i started a business with a friend going on 3 years ago. when we took out a loan to get us started, we could not put it in his name due to poor credit. he is now using my tools to do side work for himself and not returning any calls. my question is that since the loan is in the companys name but i signed for it, is he responsable to pay back any of the loan, he is a 40% partner.
