Lawsuits Between Corporations Country to Country

There is a company that filed for a Trademark in Canada.. and they have a specific product Online..

Could a USA based company file for a Trademark along the same lines in the United States and create a similar product under a different brand?

Could the Canada Corporation, Sue a United States Corporation, When it comes to a Digital Product.. ? Thanks in Advance Street!
