| I have a friend who knows someone who is an independent contractor in a salon. Apparently, she has not been very honest with the IRS concerning her earnings in the past. Her husband is planning on starting his own business from their home. She is planning on opening her own payroll account so that she can write paychecks to her husband. Does this constitute fraud in the state of Ohio? If so, what are the penalties, and is there a reward for turning the person in for fraud? |
