I am wondering what if any liability insurance may be necessary for my start-up LLC? Specifically, I intend to sub contract installation of security systems in homes and businesses and am concerned I may be at peril if one of these guys gets hurt, damages something on the customer's property or, is caught stealing something. I need advice regarding a) need for insurance and if so, b) at what price? Thanks.

for general business insurance you can talk to Zurich or Old Dominion. You may need workers Comp insurance so you need to check with your state on the requirements.
