What is the name of your state? New York
Does New York charge an LLC-level tax? From what I read, it sounds like this "LLC-level tax" is like a minimum tax, regardless of whether you had any profits or not, that a state charges. I've seen other terms thrown around like "Franchise fee," "registration fee," "renewal fee." Are any of those fees that I have to pay yearly to that state, even if I make no money whatsoever?
I am not starting a franchise by the way, but I've seen that term used in non-franchise situations, so I am a little confused.
