What is the name of your state? New Jersey
I have started a computer business and I created a single member LLC. I talked to a couple of people that said I should do away with the LLC and just be a sole proprietor. Less headaches. I do about $1,000 a year, maybe a little more. I thought that a single member LLC was basically treated the same as a sole proprietor except for the liabilty end of it. I'm not sure why they say to get rid of the LLC. How can I get rid of the LLC if this is the option I should take.
