I have searched the internet for a listing of steps involved in forming an LLC.. Unfortunately all i can find are companies offering to do it for me.. The problem is that my partner and I want to gain the experience by actually doing all the involved steps ourselves.. Can anyone help with a definitive list of what needs to be done to form an LLC?

Go to your State of Secretary website.
Download and fill out the forms Resident agent, List of officers, and Articles.
Fax or mail in your forms + fees
What for Articles to arrive at Resident agent.
Apply for an EIN from IRS
And Thats it.

Your best bet is to see how another corp was made and learn from there. Its pretty easy after you see it yourself.
