What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? PA

I am a freelance programmer, set up as a S-Corp in PA. I'm considering changing my business structure back to sole-proprietor, or perhaps an LLC. The main reason is that taxes seem much more complicated with the S-Corp, and the business hasn't gone the direction I anticipated when I formed it.

I carry professional liability insurance, and would continue to do so regardless.

My question is about the complexity of modifying the structure, and any legal gotcha's that might result. My business name is such that I could probably just remove the ", Inc." from it and be a legal SP (it has my last name in it).

Thanks for any tips.
