| | | Naming a Business What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan
I have been considering a name for a clothing brand that I am going to be starting for a while now and I really like the name Andy Warhead (a parody name of Andy Warhol). My lawyer says he would need about 1300 dollars to do a complete analysis to give me his opinion on whether or not this name could be usable. I don't have a problem with paying this amount of money to be thorough but at the same time I don't want to just throw my money at a name that has a very high probability of being a lost cause. I have seen names like Perez Hilton, Famous Stars and Straps, and Roc-a-Fella, which are obvious parodies of other names being used in business with no problem.
Could someone please give me their opinion on whether they feel it would be worthwhile or not for me to go ahead with this analysis my lawyer is offering?
Thanks in advance. | |
