What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I started a business and it’s has gotten huge and I want to register it officially. I would like to know what kind of entity you suggest I set it up as, and how to do it with as low costs as possible? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. A sincere thank you.

It would probably behoove you to ask all the questions related to your entertainment business in one thread. Technically, you don't need any entity, you can operate it under a sole proprietorship, hire employees, pay them at least the minimum wage and share whatever additional profits you want. If your name you do business on is different from your own, then register a fictitious name.

However, a corporation might be handy. This will help shield you from personal liability for the acts of your imagined dispersed employees. The issue then is to decide whether you want "employees" where you own the company and pay them what you think is legal and fair, or you want to have co-owners (shareholders).

The latter decision isn't really a legal issue but more of a business decision which we can't answer for you. While you can create a simple corporation with fill in the blank forms, if you really want it to be effective for you and someone who will listen to your plans and give you a reasonable answer, you're going to need an attorney.
