A few of my friends and I are in the process of starting a non-profit organization and one of them has drafted the articles of incorporation.
I want to make sure there is no hidden agenda behind it. With that said...
If they selected Directorship within the following contents:
"The corporation is organized on a Directorship basis."
The choices are either Directorship or Membership.
Does directorship give full authority to the individual named on the articles of incorporation? By full authority I mean, the ability to bring on and let go board directors as they please? Ideally I'd like it to be set up with founding members acting as the board of directors and having to be in full agreement on all actions.
Can someone please explain to me what directorship basis means?
Thanks.
