I recently licensed a business, I have been getting things in order to open but ran into one problem, I am having the business phone installed tomorrow under my business name but I opened the phonebook to do a little research of some of the other companies around here and noticed that someone has already been using my name of business.
Question #1 is this legal? Can someone actually just pick out a name for a business call the phone company and use that name?
Even though I have the DBA stating that it is my name for the next 5 years. Is there anything I can do about this?
