I am in N.C. and have a business with a friend who wants out. We are DBA under a corp. he has started. He wants to sign over the business to me and walk. I have the papers for that but dont understand what to fill out. I also would like to change the name of the corp. I dont know if it would be best to change the name are turn the DBA into a LLC. My wife and I are going to keep the DBA going.
