Personal Bankruptcy and Sole Proprietorship

I just recently got my business license for a home based business. I am hesitant to begin advertisement because I am filing personal bankruptcy. I have little assets to speak of...I just don't want to tarnish my business name before I get started. Will my new and not yet off the ground business be affected? Thankyou, [email protected]
