I am thinking of starting a corporation for my consulting business. I was thinking of C-corp rather than S-corp, but I heard that the consulting business (along with lawyers and accountants, etc.) are considered to be a "personal service corporation", subject to a 35% flat tax. The easy answer seems to be to go S-corp., but is that what most of the lawyers, CPAs and consultants do?
