Me and several of my colleagues are tinkering with the thought of opening a private college. Ideas are being thrown back and forth, and consistently we find ourselves stuck on legal issues. We are in the process of finding and contacting a formal legal advisor, yet I find it necessary to inquire here first. We have had trouble finding anything valuable online in regards to legal issues. We are looking for information regarding legal requirements to open a private institution, within our state of Virginia and nationwide. What requirements must be meet before hand to attain a license to continue? What milestones must be meet to continue our project? A link to legal procedures involved or any sort of information will be extremely appreciated.
