Hi, an aquaintence's car broke down...she has no money to pay for it all at once. She's in a tough situation as she has a child and has to take 2 buses to and from work. I told her I could front the money $2200 and she can pay me back in installments. She has a job, and is willing to sign over the title to her car in case she defalts, I can then take ownership of the car. I will make some money in the arrangement. Is there anything particular that should be in the prom note? What is the law for Connecticut? Thanks.
