I'm purchasing an existing Pennsylvania business and would like to retain the name (XYZ Auto Wreckers), mainly because it has been in business for 50 years and transfer of licenses will be much easier if there are no changes to the name. The company is currently XYZ Auto Wreckers, Inc., I would like to form a single member LLC. Can I call it XYZ Auto Wreckers, LLC, or XYZ Auto, LLC or do I continue to call it XYZ Auto Wreckers, Inc. and if so, what about tax returns and liability. Would it be better to do a DBA. Also, do I use the same EIN Number and Sales Tax Number.
