Hello, I currently use a registered agent service for my LLC and will be registering a trade name under the LLC. My business is home based, and I conduct business primarily over the internet.
If I continue to use my online registered agent service, I will need a second "package" for the trade name, but if I use my home address for the trade name it will defeat the purpose of using a registered agent for my LLC.
What are the disadvantages of using my home address as my registered agent address? I have read the "arguments" for registered agent services, but these are found primarily on the agent's sites themselves.
Anyone using a home address as registered agent address, do you see an increase in junk mail etc..? Thanks.
