What is the name of your state? NY

Me and a partner of 20 yrs. are ready to start an internet business. The business will be completely web based. This question may be typical, but how do we avoid sales tax and NY state tax with an internet company? Second part, could we list a NY address on the website as a second location and a primary address, not listed, out of state? What is the name of your state?

What you propose is called tax fraud. It will get you and your partnet in a lot of expensive trouble. I would suggest talking to a tax professional. One can offer the best ways to limit your tax liabilities.
