Can someone please put to rest where the law stands on tickets scalping if selling to an event in a state other than where you live. Primarily talking about through ebay. On ebay they clearly state that if you are not selling to an event within your own state, you can sell for whatever you want. The buyer may have restrictions depending on where they live but the seller does not. Everywhere I look on the web this opinion on out-of-state selling differs though. Some say it's where the money transacts, others, where the event is held and others where the seller resides. Does anyone know definatively what the deal is? Specifically for Illnois
And also to add to this, can a company incorporate in another state(say Delaware) and avoid the scalping laws of the state they reside in?
Thanks
