small business license needed?

What is the name of your state? missouri.hello.if i put a few flyers out in my area for water heater maintance,and do a few jobs a month do i need a license?

Besides a license, you may also require an insurance bond too. If one of your maintainance jobs goes wrong and a $250,000 house is destroyed, you need coverage. Check with your county licensing department for requirements.
