My question is: is it possible to start a business in the U.S. being a citizen of a different country? If so, what are requirements?

The answer depends on a number of factors:

* His country of citizenship (It makes a big difference between a UK citizen and an Iraqi citizen, for instance.)
* His US work visa status
* The type of business he is he starting (Is he making model planes? or is he making spy planes, for instance.)
