We have recently started our own business. We were working at a job site for about a year. There was no written contract or due dates. We were paid on a weekly basis by sending an invoice.

All of a sudden the guy we were doing work for kicked us off the site stating that our work was unacceptable. He sent a letter stating that he would not pay us what he owed us, and if we took any action to try to get our money he would sue us personally as well as the corporation. Can he do that? And what can we do to get our money?
