i am going through a divorce my husband has his own business and is often paid in cash he kept horrible records and filed an extension on our taxes he wants me to sign the taxes and i am not sure it is a good idea because i know he has lied on the records will i be held responsible if there is ever an audit and can i refuse to sign them? He has also told me he reported a loss so that i could not receive child support. He has claimed he had no idea what he makes when we were in court and the judge gave him till the end of the month to come up with an amount. He requested that it be after a certain date which i later found out is the date he gets his tax return back. That shows he makes nothing. what are my rights?
