I am thinking about starting a SB, and I am not sure if I want to do a partnership at this point or an LLC. I think eventually I will want to move to an LLC, but I might start it as a partnership. I was just wondering if there was any transition benefits (such as reduced conversion fees, or no fees at all) to go from a Partnership to an LLC. I am pretty sure there is a conversion application to go from a Partnership to an LLC, but if it will cost me the exact same amount of moeny to do an LLC from scratch as going from a Partnership to an LLC, I might just bite the bullet and start off as an LLC from the very beginning.
