I have a hobby in which I collect videos
and computer multimedia files of guys ages
18-23 being tickled. No sex. No porn.
No nudity. NO MINORS. Some of the guys are
tied up in some of the videos...And I'm
female :)

Each guy contributing to my collection received good payment for each video. No
formal, written agreements ever accompanied
video transfer; the guy produced and I paid.
Every time. Simple as that.

On several occasions, I made Real Video
excerpts from some of these videos, to which
I assumed I had implicit rights barring any
formal written contracts to the contrary, and
made them available for download from a website that I maintained. Again...no minors..no nudity...no sex...no porn...just
pure tickling in many different situations.

Am I legally able to do this barring any
prohibitive contract? Do I maintain the
rights/copyrights to these videos and
other multimedia as the bonafide purchaser?

Any help would be appreciated.

My response:

Well, this one got my "funny bone" in a tizzy. Anyway, you still need model releases if you plan on making the video's public. It's one thing to play them for private viewing; it's another when using them for public performance.

Does "Tickle Me Elmo" get you going?
