What is the name of your state? Texas
Is a nonprofit organization (District baseball league for kids) within their rights to force kids to sell raffle tickets in order to complete registration? The Association offers parents the option of buying all the raffle tickets at the time of registration, but once the fees have been paid and the raffle tickets paid for, we've spent over $200 for one kid to play and we have two that play in the league!!
I'm interested to know if I have a right to say, "No, I'm not selling raffle tickets, and no, I'm not exercising my right to buy them and you cannot force me to do either."
Thanks,
