I signed a contract with a healthcare company to provide speech-language services to children in an elementary school. I did not sign nor would I have agreed to a non-compete clause, however I have recently learned that a different contract existed with the school district and this company that included one. I have been told that I can not become a regular employee next year for this reason. I never signed anything to this effect and had no knowledge of this agreement. Surely this can't be binding??
