Daughter bought used car + extended service contract. Told dealer of few minor problems.Dealer said bring it in we will fix at no cost to you. 3 weeks later and $700 in repair bills, her car is still not working properly. The extended service contract would not pay for any repairs because they said they were pre-existing conditions. We are cancelling the ESC. and hoping to get a refund. She did not get a copy of her warranty when she bought the car which is probably an "as is" and was told she could not get copies of previous repair work either. We live in Illinois. Would like to know what recourse if any my daughter may have.

COMPLAIN LOUDLY. Start at dealer and the ESW company. Then go to the state consumer protection office. Or the local Radio/TV station helpline.
