My ex-boyfriend is threathening to sue me for breach of a verbal contract because I told him he could use my car to go back and forth to work every day. Does he have a case against me?

My response:
No. There was a misunderstanding, wasn't there? Of course there was. You said he could use it one time, didn't you? There was no length of time stated that he could use your car, was there? Or, you told him he could rent the car, didn't you? And he's failed to pay his weekly rent of $90.00, hasn't he? He could sue you, but he wouldn't win.
He doesn't have a prayer. Tell him to pound sand - or use the bus system.
