I do some freelance work for a local company and I just received their 1099-misc. Only problem is, I think it's wrong. I made about $2000 more then what is indicated on this 1099. What should I do?
A) leave it go.
B) Call the company to re-issue another 1099?

Also, I billed this company in Early Dec '04 But, they did not pay me until mid Janaury of '05
Which year would I clame this income? 2004 or next year 2005? Work was done in 2004, but payment was received in 2005.
