1099's and S Corps

What is the name of your state? California
I recently switched from and sole proprietorship to an S Corp
I am now told that people who pay me no longer have to file a 1099 form with the irs informing them how much they have paid me.
How, then, does the IRS know how much money I have been paid?

Same as with most businesses, you tell them.
