401k contributions

What is the name of your state? Ohio - my employer holds my contributions for 1 month (while collecting interest) before depositing this into my 401k account. is this legal?

It may be an allowable way to pay for the costs of administering the 401(k), or it may be a breach of fiduciary duty. Consult an attorney who handles class action lawsuits, since everyone at your company is treated the same.
