A recent post had a person occupying abandoned property and paying property taxes on it. He was trying to acquire title to the property. Why did adverse possesion not apply to this case? Had he not been on the property for enough time? His possesion was exclusive, open, and continuous; by living in property once owned by his family is it not hostile?
