Bank Levy without Notice

What is the name of your state? California

Is it legal for the IRS to do a bank levy without any written notice?

The IRS does not levy without notice, except in the most extreme of cases. (think six-figure fraud) If you care to elaborate a bit, perhaps we can help you.
