IF A CREDITOR FILES A LOSS ON DEBTS THEN IS PAID A YEAR AND 8 MONTHS LATER THRUOUGH YOUR NBANKRUPTCY CAN HE KEEP IT OR MUST HE RETURN IT. WHAT DOES THE IRS HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THAT. SHOULD I CONTACT THE IRS.

If you wrote off a debt as uncollectible on your tax return & later get some money, the money is taxable income. Just add it on line 21 of your 1040 & pay taxes on it.
