Hi,
I file itemized return. Can I deduct wages that were not paid to me as "Unreimbursed employee expences" on Schedule A (line 20) or "Other Miscellaneous Deductions" on Schedule A (line 27).

No, you can't, unless you are on the accrual method of accounting for your personal income taxes. 99.9% of taxpayers use cash accounting, so you won't have any deduction there.

You might be able to list them as "non-business bad debts" on schedule D though... see a tax professional.

If you do ever receive them, however, you will have to count the income. Expect the IRS to be interested in your return, this is highly unusual.
