Can I use my taxes paid in from last year on my current years return?Missouri. I did not receive a refund this year, instead I paid in over $1200. Can I claim this somewhere on my return for 2008? |

| Unless that 1200.00 was state income tax that you paid in, its not tax deductible on your federal return.

| You can deduct state taxes paid on federal (if you're itemizing). You can't deduct federal taxes you paid.
