Can State Irs (sc) File Tax Lien On Bank Account(for $1,000 Allegedly Owed In 2001) Containing Federal Social Security Disability Benefits?
The IRS can file a tax lien on any bank account. They can't keep the money if the account contains only Social Security Disability benefits, but it would be up to the account holder to prove that.
