What is the name of your state?OH
If someone filed ch7 this past summer, are back taxes (unfiled) that might be owed from 1996, 1997, & 1998 included as dischargeable debt?

If they can be discharged, must it be listed on the bankruptcy papers? If it must be included, can it be added 6 months later?

TIA

Under certain circumstances, yes. Yes, you have to list them. Taxes are not autimatically discharged; you have to have a separate hearing. Talk to a BK attorney about whether you can add the tax issue at this time.
