What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? illinois
My husband and I support our son. He is 26 yr old, full time student.
He is unemployed. We pay for his tuition, insurance, food and lodging,
He draws NO federal or state money of any kind.

Can we claim him as a dependent. and if so, where under turbotax do we find the correct dependent.
It doesn't seem that he falls into any of the categories they have listed.
Thanks

You couldn't find the category for full time student dependent?

It would be under "son". And if he is on campus, but resides with you when not in school, that is considered a temporary absence. So, choose a child who lives with you. Because of the age, unless your son is disabled, would NOT qualify your for EIC. Other children might. Also, look at the education credits too.
